Turkey-Size
Shrink Bags
We have shrink bags for big turkeys, like this beautiful Bourbon Red tom, and smaller turkeys too!
The three turkey shrink-bag sizes below are made of the same commercial-grade, laminated, barrier plastic as our very popular chicken-size shrink bags. And they have the same round-bottom shape.
As with our chicken-bags, you will find a drop-down menu, with a selection of quantities for each turkey-bag size. The bags are pre-packaged and stocked in the increments shown in the drop-down menu. This system facilitates fast order fulfillment. If you want a quantity of bags other than what we offer in prepackaged quantities, see the "Special Requests" heading below.
Also, as with our chicken bag "easy-kits," the cost of shipping to any US address is included in our prices.
IMPORTANT: Freezer labels and zip ties are not included with turkey bags. You need to order them separately. Information and order buttons for these accessories are at the bottom of this page.
Small Turkey Bags
13" x 26"
(for 7 to 15-pound birds)
Our small turkey bags, measuring 13" x 26," are pre-packaged in bags of 15, and this is reflected in the drop-down menu selections below. These are the bags to use if you have chickens that weight more than 7 pounds.

If you need zip ties and/or freezer labels, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and order these items separately.
Our medium turkey bags, measuring 16" x 26," are pre-packaged in bags of 10, and this is reflected in the drop-down menu selections below. These are the bags to use if you have dressed turkeys in the 15 to 25-pound range.

If you need zip ties and/or freezer labels, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and order these items separately.
Large Turkey Bags
18" x 32"
(for 25 to 30-pound birds)
Our large turkey bags, measuring 18" x 32," are pre-packaged in bags of 10, and this is reflected in the drop-down menu selections below. These are the bags to use if you have dressed turkeys in the 25 to 30-pound range (but we have had a customer tell us that they got a 38.5 pound turkey into this size bag).

If you need zip ties and/or freezer labels, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and order these items separately.
Special Requests
The options above are pre-packaged and in stock, thus assuring very fast order fulfillment. If you want something other than the options above, we can accommodate your request, but there will probably be a delay in getting the details figured and the order shipped. Please direct special requests to: Herrick@PlanetWhizbang.com
Zip Ties
These zip ties are 4" long and have 18lb tensile strength. They come in bags of 100.
Freezer Labels
These labels are plain white, 2" x 2" and come 20 to a sheet. They have freezer adhesive on the back. Labels without freezer adhesive will not stay stuck in the freezer. These labels are, however, not waterproof. So it is important that your package be dry when you apply the label.
You can run these sheets through your printer. They do not have an Avery number. But one of our customers figured out how to print them. The specifications he gave us are at the bottom of this page. The label sheets are, of course, much cheaper when you buy more than one sheet. The drop-down menu presents quantity pricing options.

Here's Another Label Printing Option...
The following e-mail recommends another option for printing the labels without as much hassle as the above:
Good afternoon, Herrick.
I found a ready-made template for the 2"x2" bag labels!
From the dropdown menu of label templates, if you select onlinelabels.com OL330-Square Label, it's a perfect fit.
After some trial and error, I found it best to hit the spacebar once or twice before the text, otherwise the first letter of each line is right on the hairy edge of the margin.
I thought you might want to let your customers know.
